Tash

Tash is a self-diagnosed gaming fanatic with a doctorate in Psychology. She's also a self-confessed Mass Effect fangirl and will likely talk your ears off if you ever get her started on the subject. A lover of all things RPG and adventure, she has more gamer related action figures and memorabilia than any 20 something year old professional has a right to own, and has spent more time than she’d like to admit to daydreaming about exactly what she would do should the Zombie Apocalypse actually happen.

Surprisingly, there are other things happening in the world of video games this week other than the release of Mass Effect 3. I know – I was shocked to discover this. One such thing is the release of the Pirelli Car Pack for Forza 4, which will be releasing March 6. The pack will provide ten new vehicles to the game, including cars from all the heavy hitting giants such as Ferrari, Aston Martin and BMW.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim takes home even more awards

skyrim

Bethesda’s fantasy RPG power-hitter has taken home more awards, and it’s at this point that I wonder why people even bother to nominate other games in the categories that Skyrim is nominated in, because seriously – they are never going to win. The awards on this occassion were from Norway’s Gullstikka and Skyrim walked away with four shiny new wins: Best Adventure/RPG, Best Game, Best PC game and Best Console Game. I expect if the awards had a ‘Best game ever of this century in the history of ever’ award, that Skyrim would have won that too.

thewitchershirt

The wait for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings on the Xbox360 is almost over…well not really, but when CD Projekt Red brings out these trailers I feel like the wait to April 17th is made a little easier. Sadly, the newest trailer doesn’t feature shirtless Geralt, but what it does feature is a very nice collection of general (without spoiling) plot-centric details, providing an overview of what Geralt is facing in the game.
