From Dust releasing on PSN Sept 14 and 27

Playstation 3 owners itching to get their hands on the timed xbox 360 exclusive From Dust will be happy to know the title will be theirs on September 14th for European and September 27th for North American players. The price remains the same as that listed on the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.

Kingdoms of Amalur new footage and gameplay

New footage of Kigdoms of Amalur: Reckoning has surfaced online and we must say – the game is looking pretty inticing. For any of you unfamiliar with the upcoming RPG/Action hybrid, this trailer is a great primer for you – covering the basics of story and gameplay. Crysis coming to PSN and XBLA in October

Crytek have announced they will be releasing their 2007 PC exclusive Crysis on both PS3 and Xbox360 in October. The port of the original will feature a slightly modified and enhanced single player campaign as well as remastered visuals and all new lighting effects. Stereoscopic 3D will also be supported. The console version of the PC classic will be released on the PSN and XBLA sometime in October, and will set you back $20 or 1600MP respectively.

Max Payne 3 releasing March

Rockstar have announced that their highly anticipated next installment in the Max Payne franchise, Max Payne 3, will arrive for PS3, Xbox360 and PC some time in March. So far we know that the game will feature multiplayer, with a swish game mode that has dynamically changing maps and progression depending on how the game is being played. The game will also apparently employ the Natural Motion character animation and physics system seen in GTAIV and RDR, in addition to a vamped up version of Rockstar’s Advanced Game Engine.

Sonic Generations Collector’s Edition revealed

SEGA Europe has unveiled the Collectors Edition of Sonic Generations, and the bundle certainly looks to be a must buy for fans of the blue hedgehog. Included in the bundle is a collectable figurine showing off both Classic and Modern Sonic, an exclusive individually numbered 20th anniversary commemorative gold ring and a 20 years of Sonic art book, which apparently contains never before seen sketches from the past 20 years. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Beta open to all PSN users

Good news for PSN users – Ubisoft has announced that the multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations will be open to all PSN users for a short amount of time, no PSN+ or Uplay membership required. Starting September 8 and continuing through to September 11, you’ll be able to get your fill of Assassin’s Creed goodness. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trailer released

Apparently these days you’re not a serious video game unless you have at least two multiplayer trailers. Hot on the heels of their first multiplayer trailer release, Activision have released yet another multiplayer trailer for their upcoming release Modern Warfare 3. It’s only a small little title – maybe you haven’t heard of it. You can check out the trailer, entitled ‘Tango Down’ below. Sadly it doesn’t feature any latin dancing, as I was hoping it would.
