Sony unveils new Move Racing Wheel

Racing fans – prepare to squee a little – for Sony has unveiled their newest Move peripheral, and it’s a racing wheel. It may look like some odd bank vault cracking device from the future, but Sony assures us that it is, in fact, a racing wheel that offers ‘second to none mechanics.’ Oh, and those handles? They fold out. Yep. We’re in the future guys. Check below for the video of this baby in action.

According to Anton Mikhailov, from Research and Development at Sony Entertainment, the Racing Wheel features a “nice wide comfort grip”, “double the accuracy of a dual-shock” and paddle shifters for those favouring manual driving.

The Move Racing Wheel (where’s the kitchy name, Sony? we did expect one) will be available this fall for $39.99. Supported titles include LittleBigPlanet Karting, Gran Turismo 5, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Burnout Paradise, MotorStorm Apocalypse, and others.
