Star Wars: The Old Republic free to play launch trailer
What’s the best way to celebrate the launch of something these days? Why, a trailer of course! Now that the free-to-play option for Star Wars: The Old Republic is now live, Bioware and EA have released a new trailer to mark the occasion.
The free-to-play option allows players to experience the storylines of all eight Star Wars classes up to level 50 for free. The subscription option still exists for players who want to level their character past level 50, but the free-to-play option enables players to get a taste of what the MMO offers. And perhaps get hooked. Whichever way you want to look at it.
According to Matthew Bromberg, General Manager of Bioware Austin:
“We want to give our players the freedom to enjoy Star Wars: The Old Republic when and how they want. There has never been a better time to start playing with us.”
