Witcher 2 sales close to 1 million
According to media reports, CD Projekt Red‘s The Witcher 2 has sold almost 1 million copies since it was released in May. The Warsaw Business Journal has reported that, according to news site Parkiet, 940 000 sales of the game have been recorded in the first half of 2011. This means that almost 1 million people have seen Geralt in all his muscly, bare-chested sexiness, and we’re happy with this.
It was further reported that CD Projekt has seen profits of 20.4 million Polish zloty in the first half of 2011, and generated 80.3 million zloty in revenue. And yes, I reported that simply for the chance to say ‘zloty’.
