Wolfenstein: The New Order gets a release date, new trailer, and a big pre-order bonus

Get Pysched.  Bethesda has announced a release date for their new entry in the Wolfenstein series, The New Order.  They’ve also unveiled a new trailer that gives us our first detailed look at hero BJ Blazkowicz and the dystopian alternate history he’s tasked to save.  Oh, and pre-ordering gets you access to the DOOM beta.  So there’s that too.  Read on for the details.

Breaking news: Call of Duty still hella popular

I know… shocking, right?  Activision Blizzard released their quarterly and yearly earnings report today, and 2013 was another very good year for Call of Duty.  The latest game in the series, Call of Duty: Ghosts, dominated the sales charts.  And last year’s Black Ops 2 continued to perform well.  Not exactly news, I know.  But there were a few interesting gems buried in the report.  Read on for the details.

New video goes inside the Seattle of Infamous: Second Son

Rain gets a bad rap.  Most people find it depressing, or annoying, or just something that has to be endured.  But there’s a unique beauty to rain.  Not just in the drops falling from the sky, but in the way those drops interact with the surfaces they touch.  The developers of Infamous: Second Son seem to like rain a lot.  In a new video, they show off how they’ve brought their rainy hometown of Seattle to life.  Read on to watch it for yourself.

  The lives of Tomb Raider fans without a next gen console are about to get a little worse next week.
