The Wii U may have already released in other parts of the world, but for us Aussies we are still only just about to celebrate the launch of Nintendo‘s latest console. Read more »With all the recent negative announcements concerning publisher shutdowns here in Australia, it’s nice to finally hear some good news surrounding relationships and partnerships strengthening rather than breaking down. Mindscape Asia Pacific and Tecmo Koei Europe have announced a distribution partnership which covers the Australian and New Zealand markets. This partnership will mean that Mindscape Asia Pacific will handle all sales, distribution and marketing of Tecmo Koei’s titles including Dead or Alive, Dynasty Warriors, Fist of the North Star and Ninja Gaiden, amongst others.
Read more »Retro City Rampage began as Brian Provinciano’s remake of Grand Theft Auto 3 for the NES, and much like the GTA games, you start off doing one thing, then get distracted which results in having more fun playing around than you would have if you just finished the mission. I’m glad this game exists. So many games rely on some pixel art and a couple of “A winner is you” references and think that it accurately captures what the 80’s pop culture/video game scene was like. Retro City Rampage finally gets it right.
