Chris Priestly, Bioware’s Community head honcho, has stated in a forum post over on the BSN that Origin will be required for all PC editions of Mass Effect 3, regardless of whether you have a hard copy, store bought version or a digitally downloaded version.

From what the devs are saying about this game, it certainly looks to go beyond the usual ‘point and shoot’ gameplay of many of today’s shooter focused games, offering real consequences for actions. And I’m a big fan of consequences, and for making choices that matter in games.
Read more »Following rumors that Sony may be gearing up to announce the successor to the Playstation 3 at this years E3 Expo, Kaz Hirai, head of Sony consumer products has stated that Sony will not be making any new hardware announcements at E3. Hirai’s comments came after a reporter speaking to Hirai at a press roundtable at CES, referenced the remarks of Andrew House, the head of Sony’s videogame division. House had previously stated last year that no announcement relating to future console iterations would be made at the show.
