About the Author: Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Tash is a self-diagnosed gaming fanatic with a doctorate in Psychology. She's also a self-confessed Mass Effect fangirl and will likely talk your ears off if you ever get her started on the subject. A lover of all things RPG and adventure, she has more gamer related action figures and memorabilia than any 30 something year old professional has a right to own, and has spent more time than she’d like to admit to daydreaming about exactly what she would do should the Zombie Apocalypse actually happen.

Gourmet Gaming brings video game food into the real world

gourmetgaming

Let’s admit it  – when you’re gaming, you can work up an apetite. Most of us turn to the things we probably shouldn’t – chips, chocolate, pizza. And as a result, gaming has a bit of a stigma attached to it regarding food. However – what if you could turn that stigma around by cooking gourmet food which was inspired by the very games you are playing? Thanks to Gourmet Gaming, now you can!

Any Half Life 3 clues on the internet are trolling attempts, says Valve

halflife2

The search for clues which may lead to an official confirmation of Half Life 3 has become almost a holy grail amongst the gaming community. Fans of Valve’s series have trawled the internet to find clues relating to Half Life 3, believing that Valve is just the kind of company who would craftily hide clues on the internet as a precurser to an official announcement regarding the game. This is not the case, however, according to Chet Faliszek, a writer at Valve, who has stated on Steam’s Official Forums that any clues found online are simply a case of ‘the […]

Mobile Monday: Mass Effect Galaxy

masseffectgalaxylogo

It’s no secret that I am a Mass Effect fan. The amount of Mass Effect related memorabilia and licensed products that currently take up a large proportion of my lounge room attests to that. So when Mass Effect: Galaxy arrived on the iOS platform more than a year ago, I was both excited and disappointed. Excited that the Mass Effect brand was expanding, and disappointed I wouldn’t be able to experience the game because I did not own a smartphone. One month ago I joined the ranks of iPhone owners, and the first game related app I downloaded was Mass […]

Saints Row: The Third Warrior Pack DLC trailer

saintsrowthethird1

I love Saints Row: The Third. Its immaturity and ability to not take itself seriously is a welcome change in a market that is saturated with gritty, realistic, serious narrative experiences. The latest DLC available for the game, Warrior Pack, adds to the balls to the wall, outrageous fun by providing gamers with four new outfits to dress up their Steelport misfits.
