Real Racing 2 sees massive upgrade

After the announcement of the iOS 5, Firemint and EA Mobile are releasing a massive update to Real Racing 2. As well as giving the graphics a huge overhaul, they are also introducing a new Party Play mode. This mode will allow two to four players to play split screen multiplayer on HD TV using AirPlay. Any iPhone 4S or iPad 2 can act as a host for the games, making the upgrade a must-have if you’re a fan of iOS racing.

Battlefield 3 Achievements leaked

Xbox360Achievements have leaked the 32 known achievements gamers who pick up EA’s upcoming shooter will be hunting down. The game has a total of 38 achievements, meaning 6 are secret achievements that you’ll just have to play the game through to unlock (or wait for someone else to play through and post it online). Capcom releases Dead Rising 2: Off the Record Launch Trailer

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record hits stores soon and to celebrate, Capcom has released a new trailer for their frenzied zombie beat ’em up. Putting original Dead Rising lead Frank West back in the heart of the action in Fortune City, Dead Rising 2: Off The Record also sees the return of Frank’s unique photographing and camera mechanics, allowing players obtain Prestige Points for completing challenges for specific photo opportunities. Aussies to receive access to ABC iView and SBS on Demand through Xbox Live

Good news for Xbox 360 and ABC/SBS fans – you can now access ABC’s iView and SBS on demand on your Xbox360. Exciting, right?! The addition of the new tv services through Xbox live was announced today following the earlier worldwide announcement from Microsoft detailing new xbox live partnerships with 40 new entertainment providers, including The Daily Motion, Youtube and Crackle.

Don’t expect Red Dead Redemption on PC anytime soon

Bad news for those of you hoping Rockstar would be bringing their epic western-themed sandboxer Red Dead Redemption to the PC – it doesn’t look like it will be happening anytime soon. Rockstar recently answered a bunch of user-asked questions on their blog, and when asked whether they had any plans to release Red Dead Redemption on PC, their answer was a disappointing ‘when it’s viable (technically, developmentally and business-wise) it’ll happen.

Let’s face it. Ads for video game consoles can be pretty hit and miss. But this latest offering from Sony is, in my opinion, a big fat Hit with a capital H. The ad features all of Sony’s most well known heroes, from Nathan Drake to Solid Snake, from the Resistance Fall of Man soldiers to Sackboy and Kratos, all conversing with one another in a bar to celebrate their biggest hero – You.
