A sequel to hack and slash hit Bayonetta may well be announced this week, given a recent tweet by director Hideki Kamiya. As translated by AndriaSang, when asked by a tweeter what’s up with Bayonetta 2, Kamiya replied “this week…in a game magazine….”. A sequel to Bayonetta has been hinted at before – perhaps this week we’ll finally get official confirmation.

Read more »According to media reports, CD Projekt Red‘s The Witcher 2 has sold almost 1 million copies since it was released in May. The Warsaw Business Journal has reported that, according to news site Parkiet, 940 000 sales of the game have been recorded in the first half of 2011. This means that almost 1 million people have seen Geralt in all his muscly, bare-chested sexiness, and we’re happy with this.

The futuristic cyberpunk/dark sci fi shooter is looking extremely good, based on a tantalisingly intriguing premise. Read more »Bethesda has confirmed that all the goodness and awesomeness they are putting into their upcoming release Skyrim will all fit onto one Xbox360 disc. This may not mean much to those of you who digitally download, or even PS3 players – but for Xbox players who find it a chore to swap discs it is huge news. And, given how expansive Skyrim’s world is purported to be (not to mention the new game-engine it features), it’s pretty impressive on Bethesda’s part to be able to fit it all on one disc.
