DC Universe Online gets expansion

SOE have announced that players can expect the second DLC expansion for MMO DC Universe Online sometime later this year. Entitled “Lightning Strikes” the DLC will feature the game’s eighth power set, Electricity powers, in addition to a new adventure staring The Flash.

Also included will be a new Central City map, more gear and characters, including The Trickster, Static, Livewire, Black Lightning and The Top.

The content will be provided free to all Legendary members – everyone else will have to pay $9.99.

All this new content since the MMO went free to play – how……..shocking.
