Ubisoft rolls out three new South Park: The Stick of Truth trailers

south park bannerWell, more like two new trailers and a TV spot.  But you get the idea.  With the release of South Park: The Stick of truth finally drawing close, publisher Ubisoft has unleashed the hype hounds, their baneful howls echoing throughout the land.  This day, the hounds have bestowed upon us three new videos for the game, featuring gingers, Nazi zombies and Mr. Hankey.  Read on to see them all.

The videos showed up last night on the official Ubisoft YouTube page.  The first, and longest of the three videos seems to show some actual gameplay, with a costumed Kenny accompanying (presumably) the player character into the South Park sewers.  I’ll give you one guess for who they run into down there.  No, not former British Prime Minister John Major, but good guess.  Just watch…

The second video features Cartman running into something he hates even more than redheads.

Weird. At one time, Cartman had quite an affinity for Nazis. Finally, the third video is a TV spot that you’ll likely be seeing more and more in the coming weeks. It’s 30 seconds of outlandish hilarity, featuring a cameo by a very unexpected character.

Sooo… zombie Chef? Is it possible? We’ll find out soon enough. As the trailer states, South Park: The Stick of Truth will be released this March 4th in North America, March 6th in Australia, and March 7th in Europe.

Joe was born in a time of war. A console war. Two electronic titans were locked in a heated battle for the living rooms of America. Which titans, you ask? Well, the Fairchild Channel F and the Atari 2600 of course. You see, Joe is old. So many of his favorite games tend to be on the older side as well. But that hasn’t stopped him from developing unhealthy obsessions with such modern franchises as Halo and Mass Effect. Just don’t tell him how long it’s been since the original Metroid was released. His aging heart can’t take the shock.
