That quivering sensation in your gut, that uneasy mixture of anticipation and dread… it can only mean one thing.  A new episode of The Walking Dead is on the way.  The serialized game from Telltale has been a critical and commercial success, but it definitely isn’t for everyone.  Those brave enough to play it should read on for Episode 3’s release date, and a brand new trailer.

Episode 3 of The Walking Dead Season Two is titled In Harm’s Way, and if the new trailer is any indication, the episode is going to live up to its name.  The video went up a short time ago over on the official Xbox YouTube page, and it’s full of the dark, grisly, harrowing action that has made the series such a huge hit.  But be warned, the trailer is basically one huge spoiler for everything that has come before it.  So if you haven’t played The Walking Dead, or even if you’re only an episode behind, you should probably turn back now.  With that being said, on with the show…

Looks like another hilarious episode from Telltale, amirite? I’m laughing so hard, I blew a snot bubble.

OK, but seriously… damn, that looks intense.  In Harm’s Way will be released for Mac and PC through Steam on May 13th.  That day will also see the episode’s release on PS3 in North America.  The Xbox 360 will get the episode on May 14th, as will the other PS3 markets.  The iOS version of In Harm’s Way will be released on May 15th.  All versions will retail for $4.99.

Joe was born in a time of war. A console war. Two electronic titans were locked in a heated battle for the living rooms of America. Which titans, you ask? Well, the Fairchild Channel F and the Atari 2600 of course. You see, Joe is old. So many of his favorite games tend to be on the older side as well. But that hasn’t stopped him from developing unhealthy obsessions with such modern franchises as Halo and Mass Effect. Just don’t tell him how long it’s been since the original Metroid was released. His aging heart can’t take the shock.
