The latest news from the blocky Overworld is that the addictive Minecraft will be coming to the Wii U. Dates vary depending on region, but you’ll find Minecraft: Wii U Edition coming to the system around December 18, and it’ll be coming with many of the content and mashup packs that’ve made their way into other console versions.

Review – Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Ah, Toad. The butt of many jokes for all those years, the little guys that followed Princess Peach around everywhere before crying in disbelief (again and again) as she was whisked away by Bowser, helpless and unsure of what to do next. Let’s be honest, they were never considered true heroes in the same vein as Mario or Yoshi, aside from a few cameos in Mario Bros. 2 or Mario Kart.

Skylanders Trap Team – Review

I’ll be the first to admit that I have absolutely no working knowledge of the Skylanders video games. I came into reviewing Skylanders Trap Team as a complete newbie, with no prior conceptions of what to expect. After playing through Skylanders Trap Team on the Xbox One, I can safely say the game has entranced me, and left me with that kind of excitable glee normally associated with the opening of gifts on Christmas Day.

Bayonetta 2 gets a demo and launch trailer

Back in my day, launch trailers came out when the games launched, not two weeks beforehand.  But times change, I suppose.  But at least this time, there’s a reason behind the early unveiling of Bayonetta 2’s launch trailer.  The game’s demo has been released to Nintendo’s Wii U eShop, giving players a chance to try to out Bayonetta’s crazy combat for free.  Read on for the details.
