Xbox Australia have announced a $50 price drop for both their Kinect 4GB and Kinect 250GB bundle Xboxes. From September 15, the RRP for the 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle will be AUD $399 and the RRP for the 250GB Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle will be AUD $499. In addition, an entry level 4GB standalone Xbox 360 will be introduced in Australia in October and will retail for AUD $249. This new console will have built-in wi-fi, a black wireless controller, a standard def composite AV cable and will come with a free one-month Xbox LIVE gold membership.

Not sure why you would want a 4GB xbox console given how that hardrive size will be full in no time, but I guess it’s a good xbox to let the kids at? Good move by Xbox? Let us know in the comments below.
