Battlefield 3 for $5 for a limited time on Origin


If you like shooters and explosions and guns and all that fun stuff and you have yet to play Battlefield 3 – today is Christmas for you with EA announcing that they will be offering Battlefield 3 for $5 on Origin for 12 hours only.

The deal starts at 12:00pm AEST Friday April 19 2013 and goes until 11:59:00pm AEST Friday April 19, 2013 and is available only through Origin. So those of you wanting to take advantage of this deal will have 12 hours to do so, and you will need to visit the Battlefield 3 page on Origin after Midday on Friday to get your copy for $5. And for that price, the game is an incredible saving – given it’s usually $49.99.

For those of you who do download the game during the promo, don’t forget EA have also launched Battlefield 3 Premium, which delivers five themed digital expansion packs with all new content. The five packs – Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath and End Game are bundled together for $64.95 on the Playstation Network, or 4000 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. It is also available on Origin here for $69.99.
