Bioshock 2 arriving on Mac in January

Get excited, Mac owners, because come January, you’ll be able to enjoy all the wonder and splendor that is Rapture, with the announcement that Feral Interactive will be publishing Bioshock 2 for the Mac.  Whilst no specific release date was given, a pricepoint was announced – those of you wanting to pick up a hard copy of the game can expect to pay US $34.95. The title will also be available to download from several digital partner sites including Mac’s App Store.

The minimum system requirements for Bioshock 2 to run on your system are: 2.0 GHz Intel Mac with a minimum of 4GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later and 256MB of graphics memory.

The ATI X1xxx series of graphics cards, ATI 2400, NVIDIA 9400, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series of graphics cards are not supported, and the NVIDIA 320M and Intel HD 3000 cards will require a minimum of 4GB of system RAM.

So there you have it, Mac fans. It might have taken almost 2 years for you to see this game on your OS, but better late than never, right?
