Bungie re-releases the Destiny E3 demo with developer commentary
Just in case you haven’t gotten enough of Bungie’s gameplay demo of Destiny, they’ve released a new version featuring HD resolution and developer commentary. If you haven’t watched it yet (shame of you!) this is a perfect opportunity to redeem yourself. Read on for the details.
The video went up earlier today on Bungie’s official website, and it features commentary from environmental art lead Mike Zak, technical art director Ryan Ellis, and environmental artist Mark Peterson. Two of those three people are Canadian. I’ll let you guess which ones. Wrong, it’s Mike and Mark. While the commentary is a bit light on details, it’s worth watching just to hear the obvious joy these three have in finally being able to show off some of their hard work. It’s also nice to be able to watch the demo in HD, without any of the technical hiccups, annoying cutaways, and awkward stage banter of the live E3 demo. Check it out below.
Destiny launches sometime next year, and will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
