Bungie takes you on a guided tour of Destiny’s Tower

destiny-banner-2Anyone who has played the Destiny beta knows about The Tower.  The sprawling third person enivronment is the game’s social hub, and a key component of the overall Destiny experience.  But there’s so much to do in The Tower that some aspects of it might get overlooked.  To that end, Bungie has a guided tour waiting for you.  Read on for the details.

The guided tour is in the form of a video that went up earlier today on the IGN YouTube page, and is narrated by Bungie community manager Eric Osborne, or Urk, as he’s known to Bungie fans.  In the nine minute video, Urk takes you to every nook and cranny of The Tower, explaining what each area is for, and pointing out some things you might have missed.  He even explains how The Tower’s uses will expand and evolve over time, giving some tantalizing hints of the world Bungie is trying to create.  It’s a must watch for any Destiny fan, especially those who might’ve felt a little overwhelmed by The Tower at first.  Check out the video below.

The Destiny beta ends on July 27th, with the full retail version of the game arriving on September 9th.
