Cross-platform Co-op supported in Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition

In news which will bring many a happy smile to gamer’s faces, Trent Oster – Beamdog‘s head honcho – has re-iterated the fact that the upcoming Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition will support cross-platform co-op multiplayer.

Speaking plainly on his personal twitter, Oster stated: “iPad can play with Android, Mac and PC. One happy gaming family.”

Good news for fans of the series. Now the decision becomes which format to buy the game on – it’s scheduled for HD release on iOS, PC and Mac on September 18 and promises all new content to tempt new and returning players alike.
