Hold onto your hats, Blizzard gaming fans – because the company has announced a very nice deal featuring their games. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Diablo series, anyone who signs up for a World of Warcraft Annual Pass will receive Diablo III absolutely free. That’s right – FREE. The Warcraft Annual Pass is a 12 month contract whereby you pay monthly to play WoW, via an automated system which locks you in for that 12 month period. Those gamers putting down their hard earned cash for the Annual pass can look forward to receiving a full digital copy of Diablo III on day one of its launch.

But the goodies don’t stop there. Annual pass buyers will also receive beta access to World of Warcraft: Mists of Panderia, in addition to Tyrael’s Charger Mount for WoW. Those of you wanting to take advantage of the deal can find more information on it here.

And rounding out the new Diablo III news from Blizzcon – a collector’s edition of the game was announced, featuring some pretty nice inclusions. Those of you opting for the Collector’s Edition of the game will receive the game, an art book, soundtrack, a DVD featuring behind the scenes footage, and a 4GB Soul Stone USB stick which features a Diablo head for its lid. The USB stick will even come pre-loaded with Diablo II. In game items for Diablo III, Starcraft II and World of Warcraft will also be included. Now there’s an impressive Collector’s Edition.

No details yet on local pricing of the Edition, but given the usual prices for collector’s editions in Australia – you might want to start saving your moolah now.
