Gran Turismo 5 DLC will be removed from PS Store on April 30

granturismo5bGran Turismo 5 fans (or anyone wanting to play the title’s DLC post April 30) take note: DLC for Polyphony Digital’s GT5 will no longer be available in the PS Store after April 30. So if you want some sexy zoom zoom action, you had better download those sweet, sweet DLC cars right now.

According to a post on the game’s official website, DLC for the title will disappear from the PS store by April 30. Gamers wishing to buy the DLC should do so as soon as possible to avoid losing the chance to play it. Post April 30, gamers who have previously bought the DLC will still be able to access and play it by following the specific instructions for each DLC pack on the game’s official website.

For the most part, DLC previously installed will continue to work as long as users do not delete the game’s save data. Specific DLC packs like the Racing Car Pack and the Course Pack will require users to download and install a free ‘Family Upgrade’ item related to the packs.

The Gran Turismo 5 online services will terminate on May 30, which will end players access to the Online Lobby, Community, Seasonal Events, Museum, News, Remote Race, Log in Bonus and Online Dealership features. Those wishing to sneak in some multiplayer action should therefore hurry. The clock is ticking and ticking loudly.

Gran Turismo TV will be shutting its video doors on March 14, 2015.
