Star Wars: The Old Republic is the latest MMO taking the gaming community by storm, and not only is it winning fans, but it’s also winning Guinness World Records. The MMO has been given a record for the most lines of recorded dialogue in any game or film to date. And how many lines of dialogue does SW:TOR contain? Over 200, 000 according to the Guinness World Records website.

Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka accepted the Largest Entertainment Voice Over Project award at last month’s midnight launch of the game. That’s the midnight launch that our very own Jen attended.

For those of you wanting to pick up the edition of the Guiness World Records which features this impressive record by SW:TOR, check store shelves in the UK and Australia, as the Guinness World Records: Gamer’s Edition is available in those countries now. US fans will have to wait until the book releases January 19.
