Have you seen the new 5 minute long Witcher 3 trailer?
There are trailers, and then there are trailers. The latest video from CD Projekt RED is a five minute journey into the world of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it is a much watch for anyone remotely interested in the game. Covering everything from combat to sex, it’s the most comprehensive look at the game we’ve seen yet. Read on for all the details.
Don’t be too angry with yourself if you missed this latest trailer. It was released on Saturday, after all. We were surely all out doing social stuff with people, and not laying on the couch, watching Netflix and reading comics……. right?
OK, I was totally doing that. But anyway, this latest video isn’t so much a trailer, as it is a miniature documentary, exploring The Witcher 3 in far more detail than we’ve ever seen outside of an actual game demonstration. It covers the game’s multitude of features, like combat, alchemy, magic, dialogue, romance, and many others. Beyond that, the video takes every opportunity to show off the equally beautiful and brutal world of The Witcher 3, giving us glimpses of previously unseen landscapes and gameplay. I know, right? I’m kinda speechless too. The Witcher 3 is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of the year, and has a good chance to elevate CD Projekt RED into a major force within the industry. Let’s just hope the actual game lives up to the potential shown in this trailer. We’ll all find out on May 19th, when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
