Hey, Check Out the Lollipop Chainsaw Launch Trailer!

Is it just me, or have zombie games gotten a little stale lately?  The brooding heroes, the unrelenting misery, and the rain… there always has to be rain.  But Lollipop Chainsaw is trying to save the zombie genre from, well, eating itself.  The game removes the doom and despair of most survival horror games, and replaces them with hearts, rainbows, and a skantily clad cheerleader.  To celebrate the game’s release, developer Grasshopper Manufacture has released a brand new launch trailer.  Read on to watch the glorious excess.

It remains to be seen if this game will be any good, but I have to commend the developers for trying something new in the zombie genre.  The game looks like a total blast, and I can’t wait to try it.  I mean… how can you go wrong with a buxom, chainsaw weilding heroine who throws out insults like “whiny, myspace haired jerk”?  Lollipop Chainsaw is available right now, so what are you waiting for?  Go get it.
