Hey everybody, it’s the Not On Steam Sale!
I love steam. You love Steam. Everybody loves Steam. It’s a great place to buy games, sell games, make friends, and wait for Half Life 3. But not every game is on Steam. That’s where Not On Steam comes in. They’ve got some amazing games on sale right now that you can’t find on Steam. Read on for the details.
The Not On Steam sale is currently happening over at the conveniently named notonsteam.com, and features over 35 games on sale for at least 25% off their normal price, and none of the games are currently available on Steam. Many of the developers taking part in the sale have promised to provide buyers with Steam keys, should their games ever make it onto the service. Just look for the key icon. Keep in mind that a few of the games aren’t fully out of development yet. Any game with an hourglass symbol next to it means that the developer is either only accepting pre-orders, or is selling alpha or beta versions of their game.
Pretty much every genre is represented in the sale, from the puzzle platformer Plasma Being, to the space shooter Longshot, to the retro roguelike Voyage to Farland. The sale is being hosted by developer Flippfly, whose own game, Race The Sun, is also part of the sale.
The Not On Steam sale started yesterday at 9:00am PST, and will run for one week. So that means you’ve got until the morning of October 8th to get those shopping fingers clicking.
