Ubisoft have announced that I Am Alive – their post-apocalyptic action adventure game – will be releasing September 13 for PC.

I Am Alive sees you stepping into the shoes of an everyman as he searches for his wife and daughter who went missing during “The Event” – a cataclysmic city destroying earthquake fuelled disaster which has forced many people into a ‘survival of the fittest’ style existence as they fight for rare resources.

The game tasks players with not only surviving against enemies but the environment as well. Stamina and resource mamagement are key and the combat system featured in the game requires players to employ intimidation to defeat opponents.

The PC version of I Am Alive will feature enhanements from the XBLA and PSN version – PC players will be able to play the game in higher resolutions, and two new modes have been included – an Easy Mode which aims to ease new players into the story, and a replay mode which will allow players to go back and replay levels to discover things they may have missed in their first playthrough.

I Am Alive will be available on Ubishop and Steam, in addition to other digital retailers, and will be priced at $17.95. Those pre-ordering the game from Ubishop will also receive the Ubisoft game Bloody Good Time for free. You can pre-order I Am Alive from Ubishop here.
