Gamers looking to pick up a copy of Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U will be pleased to know that the game will be shipping with the Extended Cut ending already included on the game disk, Siliconera reports.

Mass Effect producer Michale Gamble confirmed to Siliconera that the recently released Extended Cut DLC which added extra content to the ending of the original game will be included on release on the Wii U version.

“The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead…..You won’t have to download it”

Excellent news for Wii U adopters, who will be able to experience something neither PS3, Xbox 360 or PC players were able to – the ending Bioware envisioned for the game straight from game’s release.

The Wii U currently has no set release date other than a vague Q4 2012 target.
