Good news for Activision, with the company announcing that in the first five days of its release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 made a whopping $775 million worldwide. This insane amount of sales has seen it break the five day sales records for any movie, book or video game ever released.

And it’s a milestone for those involved in the Call of Duty Franchise, with sales topping the previous sales of games in the series – Black Ops made $650 million worldwide whilst Modern Warfare 2 ‘only’ made $550 million. Activision further revealed that the title has also broken the Xbox Live record for most concurrent users online at any one time – this was broken on November 8th with 3.3 million people playing.

It’s good to be an Activision employee right now, huh?
