New details surrounding Dead or Alive 5 Plus for PS Vita emerge
Team Ninja have released all new information on the upcoming release of Dead or Alive 5 Plus on the PS Vita, including information on the touch play and training plus modes.
Dead or Alive 5 Plus will be releasing on PS Vita on March 22, and will support cross-platform features, allowing players to play matches against opponents on both Playstation 3 and PS Vita while sharing costumes across both platforms. And given this is a Dead or Alive game we’re talking about – costumes are very important.
Team Ninja also discussed additional feature details, which should appeal to both casual and core players:
- Touch Play Mode: Experience battles through two new styles of touch combat with the PS Vita held vertically in portrait mode for a first-person, full-screen view of your opponent at maximum size. In Mode 1, tap your opponent to attack them in that spot. In Mode 2, touch, flick and pinch the screen to attack your opponent with more finesse and options.
- Training Plus Mode: Test yourself with challenging missions where you can build both your fighting skills and knowledge
- More detailed frame data: 3x the details for each move in real time with detailed information including delay interval frames and move reach
Dead or Alive 5 Plus releases on the PS Vita in March with all new system specific features to take advantage of the unique strengths of the PS Vita. Players will step into the shoes of the DOA fighters roll in an action-packed brawler set in a variety of international locales which feature interactive backdrops.
