PS3 gets new themed dualshock controllers in Japan
Japan PS3 owners can look foward to seeing these themed PS3 dualshocks later this year in November. The controller to the left, dubbed the “Urban Camoflage” model is to celebrate the release of the Metal Gear Solid HD collection, whereas the controller to the right is to celebrate the release of Uncharted 3 (wily Uncharted 3 fans will see a print of Drake’s ring on the right of the controller).
The Metal Gear Solid controller will be available by itself on November 17 and will retail for ¥5,500 ($71). The Uncharted 3 controller will come bundled with the game and be available November 2 for ¥9.980 ($129).
Never fear North American Metal Gear Solid fans, however – Sony has announced they will be releasing the “Urban Camoflage” model in November as well. It simply will not be marketed as a Metal Gear Solid controller.
