Resident Evil 4 rises again with Ultimate HD remake

Capcom announced yesterday that Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD will lurch its way onto the PC on February 28. This will mark Resident Evil 4’s eighth incarnation, which includes an HD remake released for the PS3 and 360 back in 2011.

This new update will run at 60 frames per second, a first for the game, and Capcom claims the complete visual overhaul will “bring this revered title to its highest graphical quality ever.”

Along with the graphical update, Capcom will conglomerate all the extras from the previous releases into this edition, including massive subtitle support and the Ada Wong-starring Separate Ways minigame.  Also, purchasing the game early gets players some extras, including a digital soundtrack and digital artbook.

Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD will cost 19.99 (dollars and pounds), and its digital download will be available worldwide through Steam (with Europeans getting the option of picking up a retail copy).
