Zatanna coming to Injustice: Gods Among Us

Injustice-bannerFor anyone who has played Injustice: Gods Among Us, and thought “this game needs more characters who don’t wear pants,” I’ve got great news for you.  Zatanna, the famously pantsless magician, is on her way.  Read on for the details, and to see her in action for yourself.

The announcement was made earlier today on the game’s official twitter page.  Zatanna will be the 6th downloadable character added to the game, following Martian Manhunter, who was released just over a week ago.  For those who are unaware, Zatanna is one of the most powerful sorceresses in the DC universe.  She made her first appearance in a 1964 issue of Hawkman, and has been a longtime member of the Justice League.  Check out the trailer below, as she gracefully beats the stuffing out of Solomon Grundy.

Ouch.  Zatanna will be voiced by Lacey Chabert, who also voiced the character in the Young Justice television series.  I don’t know about you, but I never pictured Zatanna sounding so… squeaky.  Oh well.  She’ll be available on August 13th for Xbox 360 and PS3 version of the game for $3.99/400 MS points.
