Celebrate the holidays with the Saints Row Sing-A-Long Christmas Carol Contest

Saints-ChristmasI don’t know about you, but nothing fills me with the spirit of Christmas like levitating  car off the ground, sucking the life force out of those inside, and throwing it into a crowd of unsuspecting civilians.  Guess I’m not the only one, since Volition is launching the Saints Row Sing-A-Long Christmas Carol Contest.  Read on for the merry details.

Yes, it’s the Saints Row Sing-A-Long Christmas Carol Contest.  I dare you to say it ten times fast without spraining something.  Long tongue twisty titles notwithstanding, it does sound like a pretty fun little distraction from all the holiday stress.  Revealed earlier today on the official Saints Row website, the contest asks fans to film themselves (along with their friends) singing a very special Saints themed version of Jingle Bells, appropriately titled “Saints Row Jingle Bells.”  You can find the lyrics to the song here.  You can even download an MP3 version of the song for practice.  Just don’t let Volition hear it playing in your video, or they’ll disqualify your cheating asses.

To enter, just upload your video to YouTube, and use this form to submit it on or before December 5th.  Volition will then pick the winning entries, and immortalize them in a special Saints Row video message.  Additionally, winners will receive a Gioteck EX-05 Headset, a Razar DeathAdder – Ergonomic Mouse, a pair of Gloryfy Limited Edition G3 Saints Row unbreakbable sunglasses, and a copy of the Saints Row 4 Official Bradygames Guide.  Quite a haul!  So what are you waiting for?  Get singing!

Joe was born in a time of war. A console war. Two electronic titans were locked in a heated battle for the living rooms of America. Which titans, you ask? Well, the Fairchild Channel F and the Atari 2600 of course. You see, Joe is old. So many of his favorite games tend to be on the older side as well. But that hasn’t stopped him from developing unhealthy obsessions with such modern franchises as Halo and Mass Effect. Just don’t tell him how long it’s been since the original Metroid was released. His aging heart can’t take the shock.
