South Korea has implemented its “Cinderella Law” which prevents gamers under the age of 16 from playing online games between the wee hours of midnight and 6am. According to Gamasutra the law will also prevent those under the age of 16 from playing on Xbox Live or the PSN during those times.

Read more »After a much-publicised outcry from PS3 owners over the promised free copy of Battlefield 1943 with purchases of Battlefield 3 that EA backpeddaled on post release, EA have now made good on their promise, offering a free voucher download of Battlefield 1943. Europe ps3 owners will receive the voucher this Saturday, November 26, North American owners will have to wait until December 10, and those in Asia even longer still on December 17. Aussie and New Zealand gamers should note we have been included in the European release of the content.
Read more »Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have announced that the PS Vita will launch in Europe with 11 first-party games come February 22. According to Worldwide Studios Europe Senior Vice President Michael Denny, the line up is “one of the best launch line-ups of any games console ever launched.” Not that he’s at all biased, of course. The confirmed titles for launch for the European release include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, WipEout 2048 and MotorStorm RC. The full list of titles is below.

Read more »According to an investor’s report which details the company’s plans for the next four years, CD Projekt are apparently working on a brand spanking new IP. No details on this IP were given, except the fact that the studio had commenced development. Additionally, the report mentions that the studio is planning on releasing two smaller titles by 2015 – one, a small budget affair and one, a medium sized budget project that will release between 2012 and 2013.
