Destiny trophies and achievements announced

destiny-banner-2A rite of passage every upcoming mega-release must make is the release of achievements and trophies.  Whether they are scanned once and forgotten, or meticulously studied for hints and clues, the full list of achievements is one more signpost on the road to release.  Bungie has just released Destiny’s achievements and trophies, so read on to see them for yourself.

The achievements were lists as part of this week’s edition of the Bungie Weekly Update, coincidentally located on the official Bungie website.  Amongst other nuggets of information, such as Bungie’s COO rebuking rumors that Destiny’s budget has ballooned to $500 million dollars, was the following graphic, displaying every achievement and trophy which will ship with the game. If you’re interested in Destiny, the public beta will be coming to PS3 and PS4 on July 17th, with Xbox platforms joining in soon after.  The full retail version of the game will launch this coming September 9th.

Joe was born in a time of war. A console war. Two electronic titans were locked in a heated battle for the living rooms of America. Which titans, you ask? Well, the Fairchild Channel F and the Atari 2600 of course. You see, Joe is old. So many of his favorite games tend to be on the older side as well. But that hasn’t stopped him from developing unhealthy obsessions with such modern franchises as Halo and Mass Effect. Just don’t tell him how long it’s been since the original Metroid was released. His aging heart can’t take the shock.
