E3 Saints Row 4 Media Roundup
It came as a bit of a surprise to me, but there were other games being demonstrated at E3 besides Destiny. Who knew? One of those games was Saints Row 4. We’ve got all the interviews, demos, and previews right here. Oh, and a picture of a man in a flannel shirt holding the Dubstep Gun. Read on!
Saints Row 4 has made quite the impression at E3 this year. You might even say that they blew the roof off the mother. It all started on Monday when senior producer Jim Boone gave a live demonstration of the game on Spike TV’s All Access Live.

Next up, Saints Row 4 creative director Steve Jaros sat down with Adam Sessler for an interview and walkthrough of the game. This demo, unlike the one shown on Spike TV, takes place during the first ten minutes of the game, and features appearances by some very familiar faces. You also get to witness the President sign a bill to “fuck cancer” and punch a filibuster in the junk. The interview is superb, and well worth listening to the whole thing. Sessler is obviously a big fan of the series, and the questions he asks elicits some very entertaining answers.

Then there’s Jim Boone’s interview with the curiously shiny Hundar from Machinima. Among other things, Boone confirms you’ll be able to import your character from Saints Row 3 into SR4.

Have you been asking yourself “why can’t someone just film a game demo without talking over it?” If you have, IGN has the video for you. They basically pointed a camera at a screen broadcasting a Saints Row 4 demo, and hit record. If you want to see a fully super powered President rip Steelport a new one (without a running commentary) this is the video for you.

If you prefer your IGN with talking, they also sat down with Steve Jaros for a narrated walkthrough of the game. This one features some footage not seen in the Adam Sessler interview, including the President’s pet tiger.
