About the Author: Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Tash is a self-diagnosed gaming fanatic with a doctorate in Psychology. She's also a self-confessed Mass Effect fangirl and will likely talk your ears off if you ever get her started on the subject. A lover of all things RPG and adventure, she has more gamer related action figures and memorabilia than any 30 something year old professional has a right to own, and has spent more time than she’d like to admit to daydreaming about exactly what she would do should the Zombie Apocalypse actually happen.

Wasteland 2 – Review

8.5 out of 10 Great Recommended

It’s been a while between releases for the Wasteland series. The first Wasteland released in 1988, and thanks to a very successful kickstarter by InXile Entertainment, Wasteland 2 is now available, with only a 26 year wait between titles. That wait has definitely been worth it, however, with Wasteland 2 showcasing the very best of the post-apocalyptic RPG genre. Whilst this genre has seen many titles release over the past few years, Wasteland 2 epitomises the sense of exploration, of creativity and adventure that has been largely absent in many of the genre’s newest releases. If you’re like me and […]

The Sims 4 – Review

8 out of 10 Great

With its simple premise of guiding a sim through their life, celebrating their successes and drowning their sorrows, the series has found a very strong fan base that gobbles up new releases as though they are mac and cheese delights cooked by a sim with a culinary skill of 12+. After turning my back on the series, I revisted the Sims to review The Sims 4, and damn if it hasn’t become more addictive […]

Preview – Wasteland 2

Everyone loves a post-apocalyptic RPG and if you like your post-apocalypses gritty and mature, you can’t get much better than Wasteland 2. Successfully crowdfunded through Kickstarter and developed by inXile Entertainment, Wasteland 2 is the first official sequel to the 1988 Wasteland, and if my hands-on with the title is anything to go on, the game is shaping up to be one of the best releases of 2014.

Tales of Xillia 2 – Review

8 out of 10 Great

Full disclosure – I have never played a JRPG before. In fact, I know next to nothing about the whole JRPG verse. So, when the opportunity arose to review Tales of Xillia 2, naturally I questioned my ability to provide a well-informed assessment of the latest game in the series. Given my lack of knowledge on the history of this game, my review will not focus on the strength of the story or the improvements on gameplay from the previous instalments. Instead, this review is structured from a newcomers perspective, and provides a general summary of how the game looks, […]
