If you ever see me on Xbox live (Badpie1) or ever walk into my apartment randomly (stop doing that) you will probably notice that I tend to play the same games over and over. This is a habit of mine with my favorite games, games like Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Oblivion. The replay value of these games is pretty good, but it’s not nearly as good as what I’m making it out to be based on how much I play them.

Virtua Fighter 5 to receive complete overhaul and PSN/XBLA release

Sega has announced they will be releasing Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown on the PSN and XBLA next summer. This standalone title is being marketed as the ‘definitive version of VF5, refined over the years since its original arcade debut.’ The new version will feature new game modes, new arenas, two new characters, the largest collection of character items seen in the series to date, as well as a complete overhall of VF5’s fighting mechanics, balance and animations.

Playstation Home to undergo significant redesign

Playstation Home is set for an all-new redesign, with VentureBeat reporting Sony plans to recreate Home as a place for gamers not only to socialise but to play games as well. Large scale-group games will now play a larger role in Home, and the Central Plaza will be replaced by The Hub, which will bring together games, community events, quests as well as user-generated content.

Showcasing gameplay, the wide variety of augmentations Jensen has access to, and providing a feel to the world players will step into, the trailer is more than enough to wet your appetite. Capcom Brings Its A Game to PAX

Capcom have announced the titles they will be showing at PAX this weekend, and surprise surprise, all their big hitters are present and accounted for. Those attending the Seattle event will be able to see such titles as Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City among others. Rage’s mandatory 8GB install on PS3’s

How lovely will those pretty Rage graphics look on PS3’s come launch? As lovely as a mandatory 8GB install. According to Games Radar’s translation of a PS Focus interview with Bethesda’s Tim Willits, the PS3 version of the game will require a mandatory install. The Xbox360’s install is a larger 22gig, but at least it’s optional.

Saints Row: Money Shot details emerge

Information about new Saints Row content has emerged after the Australian Classification Board Website posted details of MA15+ rated content developed by THQ Digital Phoenix. According to MSXbox World the content will be hitting XBLA and will cast the player in the shoes of an assassin.

Change in Driver: San Francisco DRM

It’s a case of if you didn’t like DRM A, now you’re getting DRM B this week after Ubisoft announced changes to the DRM featured in its upcoming Driver: San Francisco. Originally intending to launch the PC version of the game with DRM which would have required players to be connected to the internet at all times, Ubisoft has now revised that plan.
