I’ve always kinda liked video games. Boredom is not a word that factors in my vocabulary. I’ve got a lot of hobbies, way more than is reasonable for any human being. In no particular order, I am obsessed with and spend probably six or more hours a week on each of the following: reading, writing, knitting, fitness, music, film, cooking…We all have our vices. Being someone who’s kind of obsessed with stories in all forms, it’s a miracle I wasn’t ever obsessed with video games. Chalk it up to time – there are only so many hours in the day.

They have a charm and to me it seems like nothing is more flattering than someone putting the time into something that they won’t get paid for just to create something about a game or characters they love.

Mass Effect: Paragon Lost is an anime feature film tie-in set in the Mass Effect universe. Available to buy through Madman Entertainment, Paragon Lost is a collaborative effort by Bioware and Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell, Kill Bill: Vol 1). It’s an excellent addition to the Mass Effect verse, and it offers something for both die-hard fans and those new to the series.

Turns out there is a benefit to one company owning almost all the big platform games — you can wear your Mass Effect N7 armor in Dead Space 3! If you have a Mass Effect save game file on the same platform, that is (Xbox, PS3, or PC).
