Today I found out about the development of a game that I’ve been screaming out for, in one way or another, every since I was a kid. I have nothing but fond memories for the SEGA Master System classic Wonderboy III: The Dragon’s Trap. It had a semi-release a few years ago in the Wii Arcade, but I’ve been hoping for a proper remake for the newer generation of consoles for some time. While I didn’t quite get my wish, it looks like one of the greatest games ever made is getting a spiritual sequel of sorts. That’s in the form of Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom.

Read more »Our review for Star Wars: Battlefront is now up! We jump into the new game and put it through its paces, all while reminiscing over other Star Wars games. It’s been a long, long time since a game took us to that galaxy far, far away. The games set in the Star Wars universe were more prolific once, many refusing to be bound by either expectation or genre. They weren’t all great and didn’t appeal to everybody, but some of the highlights of gaming can be found here.
Read more »The latest news from the blocky Overworld is that the addictive Minecraft will be coming to the Wii U. Dates vary depending on region, but you’ll find Minecraft: Wii U Edition coming to the system around December 18, and it’ll be coming with many of the content and mashup packs that’ve made their way into other console versions.

This is not meant to detract at all from the gameplay itself, which feels great in almost all circumstances, but there is so much character brimming through the same that it’s hard for anything else to eclipse the tone it sets.
